Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin’ By World is a 16-week personal development course offered each September - December for adults who are ready to take meaningful steps toward long-term stability and success. This transformative program helps participants examine the hidden rules of economic class, build resources for navigating life’s challenges, and develop practical strategies for achieving personal and financial goals.

Through guided group learning, reflection, and support, participants strengthen critical life skills such as problem-solving, goal setting, communication, and resource-building. The experience is designed to empower individuals to move beyond survival mode and begin building a more secure and sustainable future for themselves and their families.

"R RULES" for teens

Building Resilience, Confidence, and Life Skills for the Next Generation

R Rules is our personal development program designed specifically for teens, modeled after the success of our adult Getting Ahead program. Focused on building resilience, self-awareness, and practical life skills, R Rules helps young people develop the tools they need to navigate challenges and create strong, positive futures. We are currently serving students through the ACE program at MFISD and are excited to expand R Rules into additional school districts and youth programs, broadening our reach and impact for teens across our community.
